BIO'S

Devin, or Big Ruk, as he is widely known, is a Houston bred artist.  Starting out in the rap game in the early 90's, Ruk quickly developed a unique style and paved his way as a reputable lyricist in the Southern Rap scene.  Moving forward into college, Ruk earned his degree in  audio engineering from the Houston Community College.  He also studied video production.  Ruk is the founder of the popular podcast, Tha Daily Smoke and is one of the featured actors in the widely acclaimed street thriller, Gutter.  He has been writing for decades and has now joined his talents with writing partner and friend, Lavelle.  They have co-written, produced, directed, and starred in many notable films to date and continue to impress audiences worldwide with their influential, story telling abilities.  Devin is a proud husband to Beverly and proud "girls dad".

Lavelle is a native of Inglewood, CA but partly raised 90 miles south of Houston, in what is known in the game as Trill City, Port Arthur, TX.  Lavelle is an award winning, best selling author and has been writing plays, books, and other publications for more than 30 years.  He is also an accomplished photographer, cutting his teeth in the film industry and has many acting credits to his name.  Joining Big Ruk to form the Dream Team Alliance, Lavelle & Ruk are one of the most formidable tandems in the film industry!  Lavelle is a proud husband to Gabrielle, a proud father and grandfather, and a very proud US Army combat veteran.
